Substitute Academic Technology Specialist, Lower School

The Substitute Academic Technology Specialist (ATS) teaches technology classes in grades 1 - 3 and helps teachers integrate technology into the lower school curriculum. Other responsibilities include helping teachers to efficiently use software and assisting the BB&N technology team with basic troubleshooting and maintenance of the computers, printers and other peripherals on the network. This is a two month substitute position.

Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree, teaching experience, and classroom experience with technology.

¨ Experience in classroom teaching, with an emphasis on lower school.

¨ Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers.

¨ Familiarity with Macintosh and iPad operating systems.

¨ Experience using educational software.

¨ Experience using digital resources for differentiated instruction.
