St. Michaels University School is seeking an enthusiastic System Network Manager to perform a variety of tasks involving network hardware, server setup and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and improve servers and network devices
  • Support and troubleshoot hardware and OS issues
  • Configure, deploy, maintain and support technology devices
  • Other related duties

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Degree in Computer Science or related field, along with five years experience in the areas of:
    • Linux Admin (specifically Ubuntu)
      • MYSQL admin including HA
      • Radius, LoadBalancer, HAProxy, SSL Certs, CUPS
    • Windows Server Admin (2012 & 2016)
      • AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS
      • Print Services
      • ADFS/SAML
      • Exchange/Off365 Hybrid
      • RDP, Direct Access
      • SCCM
    • VMWare ESXi, VCenter
    • Storage Admin
      • NFS, iSCSI, RAID
      • HP MSA, Tegile Zebi
    • Veeam Backup admin, including DR Replication
    • Network Admin
      • HP comware switch
      • Sonicwall NGFW
      • Mikrotik Edge Router
    • Amazon AWS DR Site
    • Cloudfare DNS admin
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and planning
  • Positive energy and flexibility
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
