Description:

The Systems Administrator (Servers) is responsible for managing the information systems and datacenters/server rooms on campus, utilizing a wide range and variety of skills to administer technology, providing overall systems support for students, staff, and faculty at Jesuit Dallas, and ensuring that the goals and objectives of the department are aligned with, and contribute to, the educational mission of the School.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administer, implement, upgrade, maintain, and oversee all datacenter operations and Office365 environment, including monitoring of server health, user administration, problem resolution, and server management-related functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to users, computers, servers, storage arrays, virtualized systems, printers, copiers, projectors and other systems to ensure productivity, reliable service, and security that are not resolved by the helpdesk or in conjunction with other Technology team members. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalates calls as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Technology team to develop disaster recovery and business continuance policies, processes, and systems to mitigate against the loss of data and downtime.
