The Ethel Walker School announces a search for a full time Systems and Data Administrator, who will have oversight of employees that directly enter and modify data in any of Walker’s data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Data Systems
    • Support the school by assisting with Data integration between systems, Data integrity, Data Reports, Data Analysis and Queries.

    • Lead, train and educate stakeholders on best practices, available tools, and foster/facilitate ongoing training opportunities

    • Administer all aspects of the databases (user/access level management, security)

    • Work with Veracross and Blackbaud support to help school faculty and staff solve issues as they arise.

    • Attend Veracross University and other online training to stay on-top of the software as it develops.

    • Support Admissions with Veracross

    • Support Advancement with Blackbaud

    • Support the Academic Department and the registar with Veracross

  • Technical Systems
    • Assist the Director of Technology with account creation and system management.

    • Provide just in time software and hardware support to faculty, staff and students.

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field recommended.

  • Two years of Data Management experience

  • Experience with MacOS, iOS, Windows, and Google Suite.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to get along with co-workers and other school community members

  • Takes joy in serving the needs of others

 

Physical Work Environment:

  • It is essential to be able to meet the physical demands of standing and sitting for extended periods of time

  • Exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone

  • Must be able to visit and move around all campus locations and off-campus or to other work sites for appropriate training and/or meetings as required and outlined in essential duties
