Saltus Grammar School is a leading co-educational private day school. Its student population exceeds 950 and its 130 staff includes an experienced, graduate, qualified team of 100 teachers who are supported by administrative and technical personnel. The School has a Primary Department which embraces The Foundation Year and the Lower and Upper Primary Years, and a Secondary department which includes The Saltus Graduate Years Programme. The successful candidate must:

Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of the design technology curriculum and its implementation and have the proven experience in the delivery of the curriculum across Key Stage 3, (I) GCSE including Resistant Materials and Graphic Products and A Level. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong information technology skills, including the use of and the ability to teach CAD/CAM and must have knowledge of health & safety issues with Design Technology.

The successful candidate for this post:

Must have a minimum of three years teaching experience.
Must be qualified graduate, experienced teacher and the ability to have proven success in the delivery of their subject in a differentiated classroom at all levels of the Secondary Department.
Will be required to deliver their subject to the (I) GCSE and the Edexell A – Level.
Must have experience and ability to teach 3D Printing Technology.
Must have a proven ability in the use of information technology in the delivery of the curriculum.
Must be licensed by or qualified to be licensed by the Bermuda Educators Council. Should an overseas candidate be appointed, this will be organized.
Must have a commitment to the principles of independent education and be willing to contribute to extracurricular activities in the broader life of the School.
