The Technical Resource Specialist provides technical assistance and support to students and employees related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The position serves as a primary support at the help desk with basic support for all endpoint devices, peripherals, and managing loaner computers.  This position maintains and manages inventory (checkouts and ins) and assists the Network Administrator with wired and wireless network maintenance. This is a 12-month position beginning Fall 2021.

Qualified candidates should possess the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Windows operating systems

  • Proficient in all Apple OS operating systems

  • A working knowledge of Google workspace systems

  • A demonstrated ability to implement, create and install all manner of network cabling

  • Experience with audiovisual technologies

  • Knowledgeable in wireless infrastructures and wireless networking

  • Commitment to using professional role to further the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community

  • Able to exchange accurate information in a professional manner with alumni, parents, students, faculty, and other professionals
