Facilitate the implementation of technology and provides superior customer service to all internal and external customers of The Sagemont School. 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist with technology needs on both campuses including employee PC’s and laptops/tablets, student laptop/tablets, teacher technology i.e., Promethean, Mimeo, projectors, and peripheral accessories such as printers, etc. 

  • Troubleshoot, correct and escalate technical problems as necessary and assist end users with technology questions. 

  • Assist with ticket system for tracking repairs and other Help Desk applications. 

  • Assist with maintaining the Technology Handbook designed for users of Sagemont technology. 

  • Assist with Laptop/Tablet Night programs and other technology orientations for staff and students. 

  • Assist with break down and set up of technology in classrooms and offices (including imaging & installation) on both campuses. 

  • Communicate with stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner. 

  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. 

  • Respond promptly when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence, emails, and faxes. 

  • Act, dress, and behave in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of the school. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with two (2) years experience in a technology or education related field. 

  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures. 

  • Knowledge of current developments with technology related to job responsibility. 

  • Knowledge of hardware and software required by The Sagemont School. 

  • Possession of valid FL drivers license. 

  • Ability to provide own transportation and commute between two campuses daily. 

  • Ability to effectively train others; emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication. 

  • Ability to provide superior customer service with emphasis on communication. 

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 

  • Ability to respond to a technology job related emergency and participate on Disaster Recovery Team. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Rediker, Grade Quick and all other hardware and software required by the school.
