The Churchill School and Center seeks a Technology Associate to join their team of courteous and knowledgeable professionals in advancing and supporting the school’s technology programs. The Technology Associate reports directly to the Director of Technology and provides technical support to the school’s administrative and instructional staff, as well as the student population.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Respond to help desk requests in timely and friendly manner

  • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and related peripherals

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printing, phone, and A/V issues

  • Provide support for macOS and Windows client software and related programs

  • Provide support for macOS and Windows server software and policy enforcement

  • iPad deployment and management

  • Creating and scheduling media for digital displays

  • Maintain software inventory and licensing compliance

  • Hardware repairs for warranty and out-of-warranty computers, printers, and peripherals

  • Maintain hardware asset inventory

  • SMART Board and projector hardware/software support

  • Provide A/V support for school functions, including evening events

  • Wireless network oversight and troubleshooting

 

Qualifications:

 

This position is intended for an individual who is detail oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is technically proficient. The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects is necessary.

 

Minimum 2-3 years experience in providing desktop support, preferably on macOS/iOS.  Applicants with an ACMT (Apple Certified Macintosh Technician) certification are preferred.

 

A working knowledge of computer networking protocols, audio-visual technology, and strong troubleshooting abilities.

 

Familiarity with JAMF Pro, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows 7, Cisco switches, VMWare vSphere and ESXi, Google Apps for Education, Cisco Meraki Wireless, Blackbaud products, and digital signage software is a plus.
