The Technology Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations, and is responsible for support and management of technology resources, and strengthening technology skills of faculty, staff, and students. This is a full-time, 12-month position with a private school.
Responsibilities:
Help Desk Support

· Insure all administration, faculty, support staff and student computers are operating properly.

· Provide technology support to faculty, staff and students to insure maximum benefit from computers, printers, telephone equipment, internet, and telephone lines.

· Provide technology support to faculty, staff and students to insure maximum benefit from software platforms: Microsoft Office, Blackbaud Education Edge, Office 365, Wordpress, Google products, Star 360, Follett Library software, Accounting software, Instant Alert Automatic Messaging, and Server 2008 – 2012.

· Set up audio, video, and computer equipment as needed for presentations at staff, faculty, and board meetings and events, and provide support during events.

Technology

· Insure all software licenses are current. Keep software current for maximum efficiency and learning.

· Work with Director, K8 and Director of Operations to assess technology needs, develop technology budget, make purchases, and provide documentation to accounting.

· Coordinate, maintain and improve all technology related systems, including computer, network and telephone systems.

· To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

· Related work experience plus related education must equal a minimum of 2 years.

· Experience in school technologies is preferred.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Compensation is based upon experience and includes health coverage, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. A valid Washington State Photo ID and background check are required
