Key Responsibilities - Technology Coordinator Role

  • Systems & Network Management

  • Oversee wired and Wi-Fi networks, filtering/blocking requests, and classroom projection systems.

  • Administer Google Workspace, Mobile Device Management (MDM), FileMaker access, and Zoom/Google Meet scheduling.

  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory; propose and track equipment orders, repairs, and vendor appointments.

Technical Support & Training

  • Provide troubleshooting for devices, printers, and software used by students and staff.

  • Create, manage, and orient users to staff/ student accounts, Google Classroom, and shared drives.

  • Train faculty in educational and assistive technologies; document procedures in Asana and other platforms.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Uphold data-privacy standards and ensure best practices in cybersecurity across all systems.

  • Monitor software updates, backups, and routine maintenance to keep the school’s digital environment secure.

Vendor & Administrative Coordination

  • Serve as primary liaison with external vendors (network, phone, copier, and other service providers).

  • Process vendor invoices, manage expense spreadsheets, schedule maintenance, and coordinate calendars.

  • Answers phone, directs calls, takes messages, schedule appointments/manage Google Calendars

  • Intercampus technology liaison

Classroom Teaching Role 

  • Teach several classes of 6 - 12 students in technology and math related fields

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or a related field.

  • Two or more years of IT support or network administration experience; K-12 setting preferred.

  • Classroom teaching or training experience with the ability to differentiate instruction. 

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace Admin, Windows/macOS environments, and basic networking.

  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills.

  • Proactive, creative problem solver who is forward-thinking, flexible, ambitious, and a team player.

  • NJ teaching certification or eligibility is a plus but not required.
