Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent boarding and day school for girls in grades 7-12 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, has an unique opportunity for an entry level position in the Technology Department, effective immediately. The position requires strong communication and people skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies and systems, but prior technical experience is not a prerequisite. There is room for growth in the position and opportunity to shape the future of the role. The hours are flexible and housing is available in exchange for residential life duties.

While currently providing a high-quality distance-learning experience for our students in grades 7-12, Stoneleigh-Burnam is planning for a return to on-campus instruction in early 2021.

Reporting to the Technology Director and working directly with students and employees both online and in-person, the Technology Department Assistant will assume the following primary responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aid Technology Director with installing, implementing, and maintaining school computers and related technology

  •  Assist students and School employees with technology needs, online and in-person

  • Assist in teaching a Technology Use and Awareness course and other related workshops

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, desire to work with people, young and old

  • Familiarity with computers and technology in general, open to learning new systems

  • Familiarity with Apple products and G Suite a plus

  • Organized and likes to organize

  • Multicultural competency

  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
