Technology Fellowship

Our Technology Fellowship is a part-time (20 hour per week), 12 month, entry level position within the Information Technology department. It is a two-year placement providing an experiential learning opportunity specifically open to graduate students in the field of technology with a focus on technologies in educational environments. This would allow time for the fellow to pursue graduate courses at a local institution of higher education.

The Technology Fellow reports directly to the Director of Technology, and is primarily concerned with supporting Faculty, Staff, and students with general technology issues in a multi-platform environment. It is expected that the Technology Fellow will be available minimally during regular business hours Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:30 pm year-round. Occasional evening and weekend hours will be required for scheduled maintenance or major projects.

Sample Duties

• Technology Support including network hardware, software, and audio visual equipment.

• Conduct one on one and group training sessions on a variety of technology topics.

• Assist classroom teachers in technology integration.

Position Requirements

• Must be a graduate student enrolled in a technology program.

• Strong multi-tasking, troubleshooting, analytical, communication and technical skills.

• Excellent grasp of verbal and written English. Must be able to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation in written communications.

• Ability to lift or move up to 25lbs frequently and occasionally lift or move items weighing more than 50lbs.

• Must be fluent in GSuite and Office 365.

• Positive attitude.

• The candidate must be a US Citizen or permanent resident. There are no visa sponsorships available.

Salary: $12.00 /hour
