Epiphany School is currently seeking an experienced Technology Integration Teacher for the 2015-2016 school year. This position is responsible for collaborating with classroom and specialist teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum, for collaborating with teachers to teach technology skills to students, and for educating teachers on the tools needed to collaborate on technology integration. The successful candidate will challenge and inspire teachers and students to be confident, curious and courageous learners.

This is a 0.52FTE, exempt, academic year position. The hours, when school is in session, are to be determined and will link to teachers’ planning and teaching times. The hours are 8:00-4:00 for pre-service, in-service and post-service days. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Plan, lead, and assess technology curriculum in collaboration with classroom teachers, specialist teachers, Director of Technology, and Chief Academic Office
Plan curriculum to meet ISTE and Washington State standards, and current technology education trends
Teach integrated technology curriculum and technology operations to Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade in collaboration with classroom teachers.
Teach technology tools and integrated technology curriculum to faculty
Establish and manage classroom culture based on mission and values of the schools
Assess and record student learning and growth and communicate results to families and administration through culminating projects and the use of formal and informal assessment tools and progress reports
Manage technology integration budget
Communicate weekly with families through the use of the school’s newsletter and classroom website when applicable
Provide recess and lunch coverage and arrival and dismissal duties

Participate in professional learning opportunities at Epiphany and in the greater education community
Participate in school admission, development, and community events
Participate in committees and provide input on school decisions

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Teaching Certification
Technology Education background preferred
Excellent oral, written, and presentational skills
Master of classroom technology tools
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as a team member
CPR/First Aid
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs.
