The Key School in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking a full-time Middle and Upper School Technology Integrator to support and facilitate the integration of technology throughout both school divisions. This person is responsible for promoting tools, mindsets, and best practices of academic technology to support teaching and learning with an eye toward growth and progress. To that end, the Technology Integrator will collaborate with teachers to create and implement technology-infused lessons which may involve modeling as well as co-teaching. The Technology Integrator will support students in their acquisition of technology skills and will, from time to time, lead training for them.

 

In addition, the Technology Integrator will provide professional development for faculty and offer periodic parent information sessions both in person and virtually. Additional responsibilities for this role include; running the Middle School Maker Space and Robotics program, the Upper School Robotics Program and teaching a semester elective, offering technology related Middle and Upper School activities such as coding, 3-D printing, and podcasting, and occasional IT troubleshooting. This position reports to the Middle and Upper School Division Heads and works in collaboration with the Director of Academic Technology.  Minimum requirements:  Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) and 3-5 years of experience.
