Overview:
The person in this position will provide technical and curricular support to teachers throughout the school, working with them in their classrooms.  This person will also teach middle and upper school technology classes and work closely with the rest of the technology department in its general support around the school.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with teachers, helping them with existing technology, as well as introducing new technologies.
  • Provide training for teachers, both individually and in small groups.
  • Teach weekly classes in grades 4 through 8 including MS Office, robotics, programming, and multi-media classes using a variety of software.
  • Meet regularly with teachers to plan lessons that integrate technology into their curricula.
  • Attend division meetings.
  • Assist in day-to-day tech support.
  • Work with Director of Technology to create school sequence for technology use and learning.
  • Serve on Technology Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Teaching experience, both with students and faculty.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate technology.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with faculty, students, administrators, and the technology department.
  • Experience with trouble-shooting and support for a wide range of hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of both PC and Mac environments.
