Saddle River Day School, a co-ed, independent, PreK-12 school, located in Saddle River, New Jersey seeks a technology integrator. The successful candidate will be collaborative, flexible and interested in using technology to support instruction.

This is a 10 month position which reports to the Director of Technology.

General Responsibilities:

  • collaborate with Director of Technology and faculty in the development of tech integration curricula and projects
  • assist in tech training and support for teachers in various formats
  • assist in IDEAS Lab maker space with robotics, 3D printers, etc. as well as in the Rebel Vision Video Production Studio
  • support technology hardware and software
  • flexibility, positive attitude and desire to help teachers and students use technology in meaningful ways
  • willingness to be with students in variety of settings including subbing classes, after school clubs, etc.

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience supporting students and faculty
  • Familiar with SMART Boards, projectors, iPads, digital cameras, printers, and AV equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills and detail-oriented work habits
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of 3D printing/Maker Movement
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Insatiable desire to learn
  • Interest in Digital Arts - photography, animation, videography, etc.
  • STEAM Projects
