Description

The LTS Learning Facilitator partners with key constituencies in the community, identifying training needs and mapping out training plans for groups and individuals. The Learning Facilitator is responsible for organizing, designing, and arranging for all LTS training programs. Training programs include not only the use of software, but connection to knowledge held by functional areas: best practices, processes, and procedures. This position is also responsible for online training activities, including ensuring that documentation is accurate and easily located and understood by the community. The Learning Facilitator promotes training opportunities and documentation use to the community.

1. Designs and develops training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
2. Selects appropriate training methods, activities, and content
3. Works with functional departments to provide related documentation
4. Promotes available training to employees and provides necessary information about sessions
5. Gathers feedback and assesses effectiveness 
6. Manages and maintains online training content and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2-3+ years direct experience coordinating training events, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting.

● Experience coordinating training events and familiarity with training methods/techniques and instructional design
● Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools, Drupal a plus
● Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
● Strong communication skills
