The Technology Manager reports to the Director of Administrative Services and takes ownership in ensuring the overall support and maintenance of St. Luke’s hardware and software needs. This position works with the school administrators and technology consultants on processes and policies to support the needs of the faculty, staff, offices, and classrooms. This manager is a service-oriented team player that embraces both strategy and vision and provides technical expertise and support to the school.

Responsibilities of the Technology Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Service and support classroom and office technology and A/V needs (projectors, SmartBoards, computers/laptops, phones, etc).

  • Management of Chromebooks, iPads, Active Directory, and Google Suite

  • Event Audio Visual Arrangements (projector and sound systems, wifi, mics, etc).

  • Performs preventative maintenance in computer labs, on laptop carts and printers & copiers. ?

  • Works with the tech consultants to manage and ensure the uptime and maintenance of server environment, switching infrastructure, Wi-Fi and VoIP systems, and backup servers.

  • Manages all relationships with IT Consultants and 3rd Party Vendors.

  • Maintains inventory of networking equipment and infrastructure and hardware/software warranties. ?

  • Coordinates school wide IT support efforts with required technology assistance and AV setups.   

  • Manage training needed for users (computers, SmartBoards, Google Suite, etc)

  • This position may require working hours outside of a normal work-day on an as-needed basis. It may also require lifting computer hardware and equipment from time to time.

Position Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in a technology-related field. 

Work Experience

 

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. ?

  • Experience servicing and troubleshooting hardware and software. Must be able to interface and communicate with a technology consultant.
