The Abraham Joshua Heschel School has an immediate opening for a position as a Technology Support Specialist.

The Technology Support Specialist will:

Interact daily with staff and students to resolve technical issues (Wireless, printing, OS reinstall, e-mail, warranty parts ordering and repair, etc.)
Assist faculty with classroom activities that pertain to technology
Mac OSX Software support
Mac laptop and desktop hardware repair
Create, track, and close repairs in Apple's GSX warranty system
Build and Maintain DeployStudio images on Mac OSX server
Maintain equipment for loans (inventory, repair, distribution and returns)
Work with third-party insurers to process accidental damage claims
Maintain and troubleshoot classroom A/V equipment (smartboards, projects, etc) and Printers
Maintain repair certification from Apple and other vendors as needed
Other duties within the school as directed by a supervisor

The ideal candidate will possess:

Apple Macintosh Repair Certification
Experience working on SMARTBoards and SMART Notebook
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Patience and good interpersonal skills
Some knowledge of Windows operating systems
Prior experience in an educational setting
Experience with Casper Suite from JAMF a plus
