QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS

Knowledge and understanding of and commitment to the Sion
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or Educational Technology.
Understanding of Computer Literacy and Digital Citizenship
Experience troubleshooting to solve computer and connectivity issues for other instructional staff, inclusive of but not limited to software, hardware, and networking issues.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Coordinate and manage student training and professional management for Pk-12th grade one-to-one laptop and iPad program under direction of Director of
Plan and implement, in collaboration with divisional leadership, professional development sessions for faculty in both small and large groups for initial learning, remediation, and
Provide support to the Director of Technology in maintaining computers and other technology equipment on two
Provide technological project support as needed for divisional and senior administration and provide support to submitted trouble tickets or work orders both in person and remotely to provide timely response to technological issues that may arise and prevent
Work collaboratively with Curriculum Coordinators, instructional faculty, and Division Heads to develop interdisciplinary and cross curricular
Support Grade School and High School faculty with enhance lessons or projects integrating departmental or grade-level curricula and the use of
Works with Director of Technology to provide vision and planning for continual upgrade of technological infrastructure.
Participate in the “life of the school” through service projects, Mass/prayer service, assemblies, community garden, admissions events, mission related professional development and advancement
Seek and take part in professional development to enhance professional knowledge and educational
Actively participate in weekly faculty development
