Mark Day School (formerly Saint Mark’s School) seeks a part-time technology support specialist to begin in June 2015. Candidates should possess expert knowledge of Apple hardware and software, exceptional technical support and troubleshooting skills across a variety of platforms and technologies, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for working with students and teachers in a school environment.

This position is a 75% FTE, twelve-month position with competitive salary and prorated benefits. The technology support specialist reports to the assistant head for educational design and innovation and works as a member of a team that supports and advances the school’s technology, media and innovation programs.

Responsibilities include:
*Administering Mark Day School’s self-service account with Apple (requires certification as an Apple Certified Mac Technician)
Providing technical support to students, teachers and administrators (including both Windows and Mac workstations/servers)
*Managing the technical logistics of the student laptop program, including maintenance of a laptop loaner pool/check-out system, coordination of off-site extended warranty repairs and insurance claims, and the processing and imaging of laptops (using JAMF’s Casper Suite)
*Maintaining an accurate inventory of all technology-related assets as well as documentation of support procedures
