  • Communicate and interact effectively with students, teachers, administrators and technology support staff.
  • Provide support and maintenance for our one-to-one Chromebook program.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Be a team player

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Ability to provide systems administration support in Active Directory, account security, file and print, virtualization (VMware), system access.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and collaborative skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, the ability to accurately prioritize tasks and to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Education:

  • At least an Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in technical systems support.
  • At least one year experience supporting technology at a help-desk or similar situation.

The Technology Support Specialist will report to the Director of Technology and become part of a team consisting of the Director of Technology, the Senior Tech Support Specialist and the School Librarian. This is a 12 month position beginning immediately. Salary and benefits are competitive depending upon education/training and breadth of experience.
