Greenwich Country Day School is an independent, co-educational day school with enrollment of approximately 1,300 students in grades N-12, and a faculty and staff of 340. The original Old Church Road campus is home to grades N-8, and the High School  is located less than two miles away on Stanwich Road. As a result of growth in enrollment and tech operations, Greenwich Country Day School seeks a Technology Support Specialist/Integrator to start immediately. This position will provide technical support to students, faculty and staff on the high school campus. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of and expertise in a wide range of operating systems, hardware, network technologies, imaging, and virtual networks, and exhibit sensitivity to the various needs and abilities of users.

In addition, each member of the GCDS faculty and staff is expected to demonstrate ability in the following areas:

  • Cultural competency skills to collaborate effectively across difference

Responsibilities Include:

  • Repair of computers, printers, copiers, displays, and other hardware and software

  • Timely response to and effective resolution of specialized requests

  • Collaborative work with colleagues on departmental and interdisciplinary faculty teams, Upper School faculty and staff, and broader school community

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated professional competency

  • Minimum of 3-years successful experience in a similar role

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Sense of urgency

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community

  • Willingness to take on multiple roles within the school

  • Personal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of children - must be energetic, creative, flexible, patient and have an inexhaustible sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Database skills (Blackbaud, Filemaker, SQL, Oracle)

  • A/V skills

  • Previous experience in a school setting

  • Demonstrated experience in establishing collaborative relationships with external partners/organizations in the design and implementation of learning experiences
