Responsibilities:

Provide leadership by working with students and teachers in order to effectively integrate the use of technology into instruction that supports student learning and meets state, and national standards for instructional technology.
Works collaboratively with classroom teachers to plan and deliver technology integrated lessons that support technology across the curriculum, both in the lab and in the classroom.
Works with teacher to model, coach, and teach technology skills to meet International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE), Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards and Summit School Standards.
Teach tech elective class to middle school students each quarter.
Serve as in-house expert and thought leader regarding current and emerging technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology.
Assist when possible with minor maintenance and/or make arrangements for necessary repairs of technology resources.
Facilitate at least one extracurricular technology club or after-school enrichment class per semester.

Qualifications:

Possession of, or eligibility for, Arizona teaching certificate
Current Fingerprint Clearance Card
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Master’s Degree in Education preferred
Minimum of two years of outstanding teaching experience in a K-8 setting.
Experience with administration of a learning management system.
Successful use of technology to support instruction.
Demonstration of strong leadership and organizational ability.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills to work with teachers, administrators, and parents.
Commitment to a continuous process for professional growth.
Experience with school and state technology-related standards and initiatives.
Interest, knowledge, or experience in robotics, coding and makerspace.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
