Applications are invited for the above position effective from 18 July, 2017 or by mutual agreement.

The successful applicant must be fully computer literate, have initiative and be willing to work irregular hours. He/she will be required to oversee/manage all aspects related to:

  • Theatre management, which involves:
  • Lighting, sound, theatre bookings, use and maintenance of all equipment, costumes and the backstage area.
  • Assist with technical components/set-up for productions, practicals and assessment, when required.
  • Train and manage a technical crew, comprised of pupils.
  • Sound technology, which involves:
  • Management of recording studio.
  • Knowledge of Pro Tools, Garage Band and Midi-input devices.
  • Knowledge of recording and mixing.
  • Teaching aspects of sound technology to pupils.

A willingness in the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Managing internal school productions
  • Sourcing, booking and arranging external productions

Remuneration: a package commensurate with the position and relevant qualifications and experience will be negotiated during the interview process and no indication of the salary can be given telephonically.
