The Bryn Mawr School seeks a full time Upper School Computer Science Instructor to begin August, 2016. The ideal candidate is able to teach a comprehensive Upper School Computer Science curriculum, is keenly interested in collaborating closely with the Computer Science Department, is willing to adopt innovative learning practices within the classroom, and shares a genuine passion for Computer Science.
The position requires the candidate to continually stay abreast of emerging educational technologies and Computer Science trends in order to foster an innovative program that engages girls in learning and preparing for future studies within the field. Additionally, the Upper School Computer Science faculty member will support Upper School faculty as they continue to integrate technology within their classroom, lead the Upper School Technology Vision Committee, and provide supervision and support within our Innovation Lab.

An advance degree(s) and experience teaching Computer Science along with a sincere enthusiasm to teach and learn from young people is desirable.  Candidates from diverse backgrounds and those with coaching experience are encouraged to apply.
