| Greenfield School seeks a stellar educator for our upper school teaching team. Greenfield is a close-knit community with 270 students, preschool through 12th grade. Each grade level through 5th grade consists of one teacher together with an assistant teacher who provide instruction in math, language arts, science and social studies. Outside the homeroom team, specialist instructors who teach art, music, library, technology, physical education, and Spanish compliment Greenfield's exceptional academic program.
The ideal candidate will have: successful experience as a teacher; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; strong computer skills; and the ability to work collaboratively. | Requirements: | The ideal candidate will have training and experience teaching and learning with upper school students and faculty. A four year degree is preferred. The candidate must be able to work with students who vary in ability and learning styles, both nurturing and challenging as necessary. The candidate should have demonstrated success meeting the individual needs of learners and differentiating instruction. The candidate will also possess strong classroom management and organizational skills. References should address the candidate's skills as well as the ability to collaborate with other adults in an educational setting.
Candidate should possess excellent communication and technology skills; professionalism and grace in dealing with people at all levels; success working with students and colleagues in and outside of the classroom; leadership ability. |
