Upper School Makerspace Facilitator

Cannon School has an immediate opening for an Upper School Makerspace Facilitator. The Makerspace is a place where students gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of technology tools and materials. The facilitator is responsible for developing and delivering opportunities for making for students, delivers teacher and student training in the Makerspace, as well as supervises and maintains the Makerspace. The Makerspace Facilitator understands the principles of engineering, design and design thinking and demonstrates a passion and knowledge about the use of technologies to support creative, engaged learning. The ideal candidate will have experience with coding, using media, design and digital fabrication tools and software. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
