Ross Institute is an educational interdisciplinary think tank in support of a K–12 lab school. Its media team creates content for web distribution. We are seeking a filmmaker experienced in all phases of production. Background in documentary filmmaking preferred. Qualifications include the following:

• Working knowledge of audio/video tools including FCP X, color correction softwares, Canon 5d Mark III DSLR camera, Sony Alpha A7S camera, audio recording and audio mixing
• Familiarity with web content development tools, software, and relevant new media technologies/applications
• Experience in producing advertisements, marketing, and training materials
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Passion for exploring and developing new and innovative applications of emerging media technologies
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with degree in video and/or film production, videography, broadcast communications, or related field
• Minimum of three years’ work experience in film/video production or a related field

Primary responsibilities include videography and editing short web videos and longer documentary-style presentations. Additional responsibilities include lighting, media management (storage/hard drives, software, equipment), and promotion of video content. Full-time position with benefits in our East Hampton office. Starts immediately.
