Effective immediately, Sierra Canyon School invites applications for a Web Administrator/Communications Coordinator. We are seeking a self-starter to contribute to the School’s comprehensive communications program. The position requires an individual with the ability to administer the School’s website, web services and social media platforms, while writing and managing content for the publication of written and electronic communications.  The position requires the candidate to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and busy environment. 
A talent for multitasking and the ability to understand and respond to individual work styles and preferences, duties include:
-        Liaison with Information Technology, Development, Admissions and outside vendors.
-        Administrative management of all aspects of the School’s electronic communications
-        Development of content for the School’s internal and external communications
Proficiency in a variety of computer programs and languages, including HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office programs, Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with creating and editing sound file formats a plus; experience and knowledge of Web hosting and e-commerce; and exceptional communications skills.  Knowledge of content management system preferred; Blackbaud/Whipple Hill a plus.
Good judgment, high energy, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed is a must, as well as the capability to work with minimum supervision. These qualities must be balanced by a willingness to ask questions to clarify assignments and a willingness to seek and accept supervisors' guidance in an appropriate manner. Demonstrated ability to represent office professionally through excellent communications skills, both written and oral, is a must.
Sierra Canyon School is an independent school currently serving more than 1000 students from Early Kindergarten (EK) through 12th grade.
