Dana Hall School seeks candidates for the position of Web Content Coordinator (part-time). The individual in this position will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a cross-departmental team responsible for the upkeep and improvement of www.danahall.org and related digital communications

  • Creating original editorial material and assisting a variety of content providers and internal stakeholders for the purpose of updating, enhancing and/or modifying content on the website

  • Upholding standards for design, navigation and user experience – including editorial style and accessibility – for the purpose of meeting Dana Hall’s communication goals and presenting consistent messaging within the community

  • Serving as the liaison for the School’s web service provider (Blackbaud) as well as all internal constituents with regard to web activities and digital communications. 

 

Successful candidates will possess impeccable organizational skills; attention to detail; an ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines; the flexibility to manage multiple and, at times, competing priorities; excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated effective written and visual communication skills; the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

 

Candidates should have: a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in communications, technology and/or education or related field; experience maintaining and creating website content in various mediums (text, images, video, multimedia); experience with digital communications platforms in a professional context, including content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, constituent communications providers (e.g., MailChimp or Constant Contact), editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite).  A working knowledge of HTML and web development software, as well as previous experience with Blackbaud’s OnProducts is preferred.

 

This a 12-month part-time position (20 hours per week, though weekly hours may fluctuate depending on the time of year/needs of the School) reporting to the Director of Communications.
