This part-time position (20 hours/week) will be responsible for external website management, social media, digital asset management and online communications support.

Reports to: Director of Advancement

Responsibilities:

WEBSITE
Develop and execute a strategic communications plan for the school’s external website, with primary goals of generating enrollment demand and increasing engagement in DDS
Design and implement innovative content and goal-based digital media strategies for the Admission and Development functions
Manage enrollment- and fundraising-related website content and oversight; provide regular reporting, i.e. Google analytics
Manage search engine optimization and site functionality
Refresh website design; ensure that all content is up-to-date and accurate
Coordinate timely news feed
Act as liaison to school’s web vendor, Whipple Hill, regarding customer service/site issues and updates

SOCIAL MEDIA
Develop a comprehensive, strategic communications plan for Davidson Day’s social media presence
Structure achievable goals; measure outcomes using analytical data
Supervise use and content of all officially-branded channels within the DDS community

PHOTO/VIDEO & OTHER
Direct and produce digital media, including video, audio, and photo across the school’s web and social media channels
Manage video/audio/photo editing and implementation
Update and coordinate video, audio and photo archives

Requirements:
Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications with strong knowledge in Digital Media; 2-5 years of work experience preferred
Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, basic HTML code, InDesign, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Vimeo, Hootsuite, photography and videography
Demonstrate skill in creating attractive, effective digital marketing materials based on an established and consistent visual style
Be results- and detail-oriented, highly organized, flexible and enthusiastic about working in an educational environment
