Technology Coordinator
Job Description:
The Technology Coordinator supports the school’s mission by providing responsive Tier 1 technical support, partnering with teachers to effectively integrate technology into the classroom, and delivering training that helps faculty and staff confidently use core tools, including Microsoft 365 and other educational platforms. This is a hands-on, service-oriented role focused on day-to-day user support and instructional technology collaboration rather than systems or network administration. The school environment includes both Apple and Windows systems, as well as a range of cloud-based platforms and classroom technologies.
Examples of Daily Tasks Include:
- Provide friendly, timely Tier 1 technical support for staff and faculty across campus through the helpdesk ticketing system
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve more complex issues
- Troubleshoot everyday technology issues (devices, software, connectivity, accounts, phones)
- Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and support records
- Partner with teachers to support meaningful, age-appropriate use of technology in the classroom
- Deliver clear, engaging training and create easy-to-follow how-to resources
- Support onboarding/offboarding, device setup, and account management
- Assist with classroom technology, AV systems, and school events

Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Education Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or educational technology support preferred
- Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience supporting Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, printers, and endpoint devices
- Basic device setup and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems, classroom technology, educational software, AV equipment, and standard cybersecurity practices
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily on-site and includes both desk work and movement throughout campus buildings. The position requires regular computer use and occasional lifting and transport of equipment (up to approximately 50 pounds).
