Parker School seeks a Graphic Production and Web Specialist responsible for the production and dissemination of digital, print, and web publications and for management of external web content. This part-time Advancement Department staff member will serve as the liaison to graphic design vendors or similar third parties engaged in the school’s marketing efforts.

Essential functions of the position are graphic production and web content management, with the following primary duties. The Specialist will coordinate with graphic design personnel to produce school wide materials to include newsletters, annual reports, event collateral, admissions resources, marketing materials, and department flyers, while ensuring all publications are consistent with the school’s branding guidelines. He or she will also be responsible for editing and updating existing design materials, to include utilizing in-house printers for final production. Web content management duties include designing and maintaining school web content, such as the school website, video-sharing sites and other web-based media channels. The position will also be responsible for producing or supporting the production of video content for school marketing purposes.

Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, digital media, or a related field and prior professional design experience and web content management experience. Experience working in a school setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development, and design; proven digital photography, video production and editing skills; ability to work collaboratively with a wide array of constituents, while meeting deadlines; and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and 365 applications, and various web design platforms. Knowledge of digital marketing campaigns and publicity and promotional practices is preferred.
