Responsibilities:

Developing  innovative cross curricular planning and program implementation
Supporting the School’s world class FIRST Robotics program
Teaching Computer Science (AP) and Technological Design
Inspiring growth in boys through mentoring

 

The successful candidate will have:

B.Sc/B.Eng (Computer Science/Mech/Elec) plus B. Ed. or equivalent experience
Additional qualifications in technological studies (preferred)
Experience with FIRST Robotics, FIRST Lego League or VEX robotics (preferred)
High level of competence with computer technology
Experience with machine tools and software e.g. CAD, CNC mill, CNC lathe (preferred)
3 to 5 years’ teaching experience (preferred)
Demonstrated talent for teaching, coaching, mentoring and inspiring boys
Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills as well as a growth mindset
Proven ability to develop smooth, collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues and parents
A passion for teaching and leading teams
A commitment to educational excellence
A burning desire to become fully immersed in the School’s positive and progressive culture
